Registered Maine Guide Talks Brook Trout

October 9, 2025 By Kassie

Mark your calendars! On October 29th, FSM will be partnering with Bangor Public Library to host a talk on Maine Brook Trout.

Bob Mallard is a registered Maine Guide, blogger, writer, author, and fly designer. He is an Ambassador for Epic fly rods, and on the Scientific Anglers Pro Staff. Bob was the Publisher, Northeast Regional Editor, and a regular contributor to Fly Fish America magazine, and is a freelance fly fishing and native fish conservation writer. Bob has fished in the Magalloway and can explain why conserving the region is so critical to brook trout habitat.

Registered Maine Guide Talks Brook Trout will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Laurence E. Crofutt Community Room. This event does not require registration. For more information, visit Bangor Public Library’s event page.
