Honorary Gifts

Are you looking for a meaningful way to recognize an important person in your life? If they enjoy Maine’s woods and waters, whether that’s for fun and recreation or for work, consider making a gift to FSM in their honor.  Your gift can mark a special occasion, such as a birthday, holiday, or anniversary, or honor the memory of a friend or loved one.photo-1455732063391-5f50f4df1854-Unsplash_Stephanie-McCabe-web

Such contributions help conserve Maine woods and waters, while at the same time giving a one-of-a-kind gift that honors their connection to Maine’s outdoors. For example, one nine year old sent us her birthday money because as she said “I love the woods and wildlife and would hate to see it go away.”

Another example is a family who honored their late grandmother. She had a camp in Northeast Carry near Moosehead Lake and was an avid outdoors woman who loved this area and the friends she made there. Upon her passing at age 93 family and friends sent contributions to FSM in her memory.
