Christopher Beichner

President & CEO

Chris Beichner joined Forest Society of Maine in December 2024 as the third President & CEO. Chris brings more than 25 years of nonprofit experience including the last 17 years as the CEO of three different organizations. From 2012 to 2024, Chris was the President & CEO of the Allegheny Land Trust. Prior to his conservation work, he served in various leadership roles with local and regional community and economic development corporations.

Chris became a certified executive coach in 2023. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, attending his kid’s concerts, learning, playing the saxophone, running with his dogs and exploring the beauty of Maine’s communities and wilderness.
