We are facing some extraordinary circumstances but we take great comfort in knowing that we are not facing this alone. Many schools, local businesses, and partner organizations are closed or have made the shift to remote work in the best interests of our communities. In light of this FSM is taking measures to keep our staff and their families safe and supported during these unusual times.
As many staff members have children and family members to accommodate, we are trying our best to continue daily operations, while giving them the flexibility to take care of their personal responsibilities. We are available by email but our offices are now closed to the public until further notice. We are endeavoring to continue daily operations as much as possible but may need to make adjustments in accordance with guidelines from health officials, so please be patient if you do not hear from us right away. If you have an urgent matter you can currently contact the FSM office by phone (207) 945-9200.
We appreciate your understanding as we all pull together. We also encourage you to spend time outdoors, taking in the fresh air and noticing the signs of spring that are starting to appear. Unless roads are closed for mud season, most conserved lands are open and waiting for you to enjoy them. Visit FSM’s website or Maine Trail Finder to find trails near you.
