Moosehead Lake Wilderness Retreat
Overview:
Join members of the Forest Society of Maine and The Nature Conservancy for a unique opportunity to see the North Woods like never before. The Maine Tree Foundation and The Nature Conservancy have helped us organize a great getaway in the forests around Moosehead Lake. We’ll be based at The Birches Resort in Rockwood, and will take field trips to learn about the ecology of the area, sustainable forestry practices, and the habitat needs of lynx.
