The
mission of the Forest Society of Maine (FSM) is to protect
and conserve Maine’s forestlands, including important
natural areas such as lakes, rivers, and mountains. Working
cooperatively with landowners FSM seeks to maintain the
economic, ecological, cultural, and recreational values
of the Maine woods.

- 510 miles of lake and pond shoreline
