Directions to the Forest Society of Maine office

If you are familiar with Bangor, Franklin Street lies perpendicular to the Bangor Public Library and runs between Harlow and Hammond Streets. Detailed directions to the office are as follows:

From I-95, take Exit 183 (formerly Exit 46) (Hammond Street). If you are coming from the south, turn right onto Hammond Street; if from the north, turn left onto Hammond. You will now be traveling east on Hammond toward downtown. Just after the second set of lights (about 1.5 miles from the exit), you’ll pass the YMCA and the courthouses on your left. Just past them, before you reach the bottom of the hill, turn left onto Franklin Street. The second building on your right after you cross Kenduskeag Stream is 115 Franklin. There is a large number 115 on the front; you may also find the building after it (Panda Garden) to be a useful landmark. There is two-hour parking on the street, as well as a parking lot opposite our building at the corner of Franklin and Harlow Streets. Take the elevator to the third floor.
